I'm Laura, the founder and curator behind the boutique.

I moved to Ohio from New England 15 years ago, got married and started a family. As a former collegiate athlete turned mom of two, life looks a little different these days—but my love for putting outfits together and finding pieces that make you feel good has never changed.

I started Sovella to create a space for women—especially other moms—who want cute, comfortable, everyday pieces that still feel put together, with just the right amount of fun and dressy mixed in. Getting dressed should feel easy, effortless, and something you actually look forward to.  No more staring at your closet hating everything in there!

Every piece you see here is handpicked with real life in mind—styles you can throw on, wear confidently, and truly “wear on repeat” wherever your day takes you.

A little about the name… Sovella was created to represent something very close to my heart—the bond between a mother and her daughters. I combined my name with my daughters, Sophia and Olivia, to create something meaningful that will always remind me why I started.

This journey is about more than just a boutique. It’s about showing my girls and other women that you can follow your dreams, take risks, and build something of your own with hard work, determination, and heart. I’m so grateful for the support of my mom, close friends and family, and of course my husband—this wouldn’t be possible without them.
